2015 is literally hours away.  Though some of us may miss 2014, some of us are gladly ready for it to take its final bow.  Either way, reading this post will help you get ready to countdown on New Year's Eve and feel pretty darn great.

7 Things You Should Absolutely Do Before You Bring in 2015

1.     Rest.

If you are lucky enough to be on a break from work right now, sleep before and after you count down to 2015. You will need all of your energy to accomplish what you need to do in 2015.

2.     Relive the great moments of 2014.

This is one of the greatest parts about being active on social media.  You can literally look at what you did this year by scrolling through whatever you decided to post. Relish in the memories, remember the lessons and let go of the things you lost. 2015 is upon us.

3.     Write down what you want to accomplish in the New Year.

Famed author and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar stressed the importance of writing things down in his audio program, "How to Stay Motivated." In short, he insisted that the act of writing things down helps you accomplish everything you want to do, have or be. Other studies have shown that you are completely focused on one task when you write things down and it will be easier to remember.

4.     Don't panic.

A lot of people get anxiety when the New Year rolls around. They might think about the things they did not accomplish or the millions of things they need to do, but stressing never helps any situation. Do what you can, focus on the task at hand and breathe. What is meant to be will always be.

5.     Note the mistakes you made and the ones you do not want to make again.

The great part about being human is that you can and will make mistakes. It happens, you learn (or don't learn) and move on. But, if you want to be a better person in the New Year, try to avoid making the same mistakes by pinpointing the ones that hurt others or hindered you the most.  Though it might not be easy to admit, the first step to correcting a mistake is acknowledging you made one in the first place.

6.     Decide to stick to your New Year's Resolution.

GO TO THE GYM.

But, in all honesty, if your resolution is not something you actually plan on doing anytime soon, save yourself the disappointment and shame by not making one at all.

7.     Bring in 2015 with the people you love.

Not all of us have the privilege of being with our loved ones (closest family and friends) on New Year's Eve, but if you can, bring in 2015 with the harmonious screams and drunken activity of a few people you love. Make a mark on the first few minutes by sharing laughs with people you expect to be surrounded by when the year ends and take lots of pics to relish in the memory (and to post on Instagram the day after).

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Enstars!
