During the interview for her January 2015 cover of Rolling Stone, she talked more about her decision to terminate her pregnancy while in high school at La Guardia Performing Arts.  "I thought I was going to die... I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through," Minaj revealed.

She continued to tell the reporter how the decision affected her, saying it "haunted me all my life."  But, at a young age, she thought it would be better to not bring a child into the world.  She also added, "I wasn't ready. I didn't have anything to offer a child... "It'd be contradictory if I said I wasn't pro-choice."

Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels Took Their Split to Twitter, Exchange Revealing Tweets Online

As many of her Barbie's know, she recently broke up with her boyfriend of 11 years, Safaree Samuels.  In various interviews, she has had to take breaks or change the subject to stop from breaking into tears as she is still grieving the loss of a person she calls, "her best friend."

During the interview, she briefly spoke about their current situation.  "I had to learn to do something as simple as sleep alone," she said.  Still, her fans have seemed to connect with this album more than ever before because she is being 100% transparent.  She added, "I struggled with 'Do I express these feelings?' And I decided there's no reason for me to hide. I'm a vulnerable woman, and I'm proud of that."
