Mary-Kate Olsen's much older boyfriend Oliver Sarkozy, 42, just bought a townhouse in New York's east villiage for $6.5 million -- its full-asking price.

However, the 26-year-old twin is not officially moving into the estate, reported the New York Daily News, she'll just be leaving her clothes there.

The half-brother of the former French president bought the pad alone, but wants to share the luxurious 146-year-old estate with Olsen, sources told the New York Post. Sarkozy bought the townhouse because he and Olsen "like that it is old," a real estate insider told the newspaper.

There should be plenty of room for the petite star. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, she should be able to find plenty of closet space in the 4,200 square feet home.

The sale has brokers wondering if Mary-Kate's sister Ashley will snag the house's twin, it's next-door neighbor. (Initially the two townhouse were being sold as a package, but was recently was taken off the market.)

The couple is said to have started dating in April, when they were photographed together at a Knicks game together. Since then, they've been spotted in the Hamptons and dining in New York's West Village with Sarkozy's daughter.

According to the New York Daily News, Sarkozy has two children with his ex-wife, Charlotte Bernard, and is the managing director of the global asset management firm The Carlyle Group's Global Financial Services Group, a company that has more than $156 billion in holdings.

In the past, his ex-wife called the Sarkozy-Olsen relationship "grotesque."

Sarkozy sold his Upper East Side townhouse earlier this year for $8.4 million. According to the Post, he had to slash the price from $11.95 million to get it off the market.
