Craig Wayne Boyd is hot off his Season 7 win on The Voice and his win just got sweeter since his debut single has officially made history.
Boyd sang a song that his coach Blake Shelton gifted to him. The country singer first performed My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face during the live finale.
People reported on Tuesday that the newly crowned champion of The Voice has made history since his single has debuted at no. 1 on the country charts in its first week of release.
The site further revealed, Boyd is only the second country artist to achieve this feat. Garth Brooks' More Than a Memory from 2007 also debuted at no. 1.
This is certainly a great way for the singer to celebrate his birthday and many on Twitter are congratulating him, including the official Jim Beam Twitter.
"Tonight we raise a glass to you," the account tweeted to the country crooner.
