It's been over six months since season 2 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black was released on the streaming service; should fans expect season 3 to arrive around the same time in 2015?

Season 2 of Orange Is the New Black was released to the public on June 6, 2014, with all 13 episodes debuting at the same time. Back in 2013, the series debuted its first season on July 11.

With a clear precedent of a summer release, OITNB fans should probably expect season 3 to be released in either June or July, though Netflix has not revealed a specific release date yet.

Back when Netflix released House of Cards season 2 in February, fans who got through the final episode saw a special teaser that season 2 of OITNB would be released on June 6. It remains to be seen if Netflix will continue this strategy in 2015.

As for the amount of episodes set for release, IMDb lists 14 episodes total for season 3, an uptick from the 13 episodes for season 1 and 2, respectively. Among reported episode titles are It's the Great Blumpkin, Charlie Brown for episode 1, Sometimes Bad Things Happen to Bad People for episode 3, The Rapiest Pap Smear for episode 10, Gay Feet for episode 11, Never-ending Rumspringa for episode 12 and Hot for Janitor for episode 13.

The season 3 trailer will likely be released some time in April, just like the season 2 trailer.
