Mad Men may not have a premiere date yet, but it still remains one of 2015's most highly anticipated shows.

Still No Premiere Date For 'Mad Men' In 2015

There are only seven episodes left in the AMC program's seventh and final season and on Wednesday Hitfix deemed the ad agency drama one of the year's biggest returns alongside NBC's Parks and Recreation (Jan. 13) and Starz's Outlander (April 4).

As noted by Hitfix, the 1970s will be close approaching as the 1960s drama comes to an end. Will Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and company ring in a new decade before the close of the series? Just how much is going to change?

Creator Matthew Weiner has often claimed that not all fans will be happy, but with just a few hours in the show left it's likely even the skeptics will be watching with full attention.

"I don't care [about backlash]," noted Weiner in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Nov. 24. "I'm just doing my job. I'm just trying to do something meaningful with the people I work with."

Seven episodes may not seem like a lot, but it is in keeping with this year's series finale lineup. Shows like NBC's Parenthood and Parks and Recreation are looking at shortened runs of their respective seasons as they draw to a final close.

Mad Men returns on AMC for the remainder of its seventh and final season in 2015.
