Though they ended season one needing some space from one another, Richie (Raul Castillo) and Patrick (Jonathon Groff) could be set to eventually overcome their problems on season 2 of Looking.

Richie Exploring 'New Territory?'

In a new interview with E! News, Castillo teased that he and Groff tend to spend a lot of time together on-set where they wear significantly less clothing than normal, potentially hinting that the two could repair their relationship and potentially hit the sheets sometime in the next season.

"We spend a lot of time laughing and giggling half-naked, but mostly naked," Castillo said. "But you have to have a good sense of humor about those things or otherwise it would be incredibly awkward. I'm really lucky to get to work with the people that I do. They create this wonderfully safe and protected environment. Everyone treats those scenes with a lot of sensitivity."

But while he did tease the possibility of sex scenes between the two characters, Castillo wouldn't give specifics on just how many there would be in season two.

"I want that to be a surprise," he said.

And though any reunion the couple may have in the new season could be changed once again if Richie learns about Patrick having sex with his boss, Kevin (Russell Tovey), the only thing Castillo will confirm is that he and Tovey did work together a lot more in the new season-which could mean some intense face-to-face action if they decide to fight it out over Patrick.

"We have some stuff coming up. I got to work with Russell more this season than I did last season," he said. "It was a true blast. He's a great actor and he's a lot of fun to be around."

Looking season 2 premieres Sunday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
