Teen Wolf fans will have to endure nearly a year wait between season 4 and 5.

'Teen Wolf' MTV: Season 5 Scripts Are 'Rolling In', Jeff Davis Talks Major Storylines

The MTV series concluded season 4 in September, and it looks like season 5 won't beam onto TVs until next summer.

"[Teen Wolf season 5] starts shooting FEB," tweeted actor Matthew Del Negro (Agent McCall). "Think it airs over summer."

After airing the 24-episode third season and the shorter 12-episode fourth season on a tight schedule, the supernatural drama has earned a break. Luckily for fans, series creator Jeff Davis recently broke his hiatus silence to announce the premiere title.

"Back at it," Davis captioned a photo of the premiere's title page, revealing that the first episode of season 5 will be called "Creatures of the Night."

When Teen Wolf does bring werewolves, banshees and hunters back to MTV, there are a few key storylines viewers can look forward to. Jordan Parrish and his mysterious supernatural powers will be back once more, and Derek's new abilities have yet to be fully explored.
