Fans have been sitting on the edge of their seats anxiously awaiting the return of the show, and the teasers definitely aren't helping.

The winter finale left off with Washington being taken under her will at the request of the Vice President, President Grant's sworn enemy.

Fans were left with so many unanswered questions, and by the look of things, it doesn't look like they'll be getting any answers until the show returns later this month.

Washington has shared very little about the enticing new episode, but one thing fans do know is that is will definitely be worth the wait.

Scandal returns to Thursday nights on Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
