Cuoco-Sweeting was in hot water with many feminists when the actress told Redbook that she didn't consider herself one, admitting that she hadn't been a victim of sexism in the entertainment industry.

She issued a bit of an apology for those who were offended by her comments last week, but she continued to clear things up in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"I really truly meant that I am so lucky and blessed," she explained to the organization. "My career has been growing since I was very young and I haven't felt like I had to fight to be equal. That's why I said it."

Cuoco-Sweeting previously took to her Instagram account to issue a statement about her comments. The caption read:

"In my 'Redbook' article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism - if any of you are in the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context. I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."

The actress is currently making $1 million per episode of The Big Bang Theory, which has been renewed for an addition two seasons, putting her run on the show at 10 seasons, at least.
