Mom co-stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney are hosting the 2015 People’s Choice Awards for the first time ever Wednesday night and they're not as prepared as you may think.

"We don't know what we're doing," Janney told CBC News."We've never hosted a show before. I think they're crazy for having picked us. And we're going to prove it.”

Yet, the show’s executive producer Mark Burnett seems to disagree with this year's hosts.

“We are thrilled to have Anna and Allison as hosts of our show,” Burnett said about the actresses in a statement. “Our job is to entertain our audience, and these actresses have such chemistry and comedic timing that no matter who wins, everyone will be having fun.”

Some of the biggest movies, songs, actors and musicians are nominated for this year's awards, which are given based solely on the public’s votes. Shailene Woodley is the most nominated movie star with four nods, while newcomer Sam Smith has the most nominations of any musician with four. Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries are the most nominated TV shows with five each.

Betty White, Katey Sagal, Mark Harmon, Tim Allen and Tom Selleck are all up for the favorite TV icon award.

The night will also include three performances from Iggy Azalea, who was one of the most talked about artists in 2014, country group Lady Antebellum, and rock band Fall Out Boy.

The 41st People's Choice Awards airs at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Watch the live stream via Ustream.
