"Good Morning America" announced on Monday, Aug. 27, that Sabrina Bryan will join the all-star cast for the new season of "Dancing With the Stars," winning the most votes to become the 13th  celebrity contestant on the show.

Fans voted for the 13th contestant on the "DWTS" official website and the choices were Bryan, Kyle Massey and Carson Kressley. Bryan's partner will be Loius Van Amstel.

The former Disney "Cheetah Girls" star and singer was shockingly, by both judges and viewers, eliminated from "DWTS" season 5. She is now back to fight for the mirror ball trophy against celebrities such as Kristie Alley, Pamela Anderson and Shawn Johnson.

"For me, it's just incredible to have a second chance for my fans. They were just so supportive from the beginning to just stick behind me and rally the troops. ...This is all about them. I am so lucky," Bryan said. "I feel like the stars are aligning and I get a second chance."

Hollywood Life reported on Aug. 24 that the show's producers favored Massey for the 13th spot because he would bring along drama, seeing that he does not get along with Bristol Palin, who is a confirmed contestant on the new season. The tension between the two would help raise ratings for the show.

The site also reported that producers claimed Bryan was easy to work with but "has zero potential for scandal."

"If America does pick Sabrina, [producers will] know the fans are just interested in the dancing this year, and having favorites back, and no funny business or drama," a source said.

Well, America has spoken and the new season of "DWTS" starts on Sept. 24 on ABC.
