It would seem that Farrah Abraham's botched lip job comes shortly after the reality star claimed she was "done" with plastic surgery.

On Tuesday Abraham was admitted to the emergency room in California after having an allergic reaction while trying to receive a lip implant.

Abraham told Hollywood Life on Tuesday that she intends to stick with surgeons she has "never had issues with in the past" for all future procedures, but this seems to contradict what the former Teen Mom star had said only a few months ago.

During an interview with E! in October, Abraham admitted that she initially received plastic surgery because she didn't want to be distracted by being unhappy with the way she looked. She also revealed that she had no plans for additional surgeries in the future.

"I mean personally I'm done right now…" she insisted. "I'm happy as is."

Do body image issues have Abraham going back on her word? Is she perhaps addicted to cosmetic surgery?

Over the last few years, Abraham has made changes to her lips, breasts, and face. On July 2 Abraham told Rumor Fix (featured below) that she often struggled with her appearance and used to spend hours looking at her face and being displeased with what she saw.

"You don't want to hate your face when you're looking at yourself…" she insisted. "I'd rather bless myself and get the surgery and move forward with my life."

With surgery after surgery, it looks more like Abraham is moving back instead of forward.

"I encourage women to take care of themselves, invest in themselves, and be happier…" she continued. "I would hope that my confidence and self respect is where it needs to be."

Perhaps the reality star isn't as "confident" as she's led people to believe. If this is the case, then her botched surgery might just be a sign that Abraham needs more help.

Whether Abraham would be willing to admit such a thing, however, is still uncertain.
