Fans of TLC's Breaking Amish series are praying for the health of one of their favorite people on the show, as Mamma Mary Schmucker has been hospitalized.

Could The Next Season Of 'Breaking Amish' Feature A Brooklyn & Original Cast Cross-Over?

According to the Facebook page run by her son, Abe Schmucker, and his wife, Rebecca, Mary was hospitalized on Jan. 7 for a hernia-and could require surgery to fix the problem.

The young married couple-whose transition from Amish to English lives has been chronicled through several seasons of the show-have been keeping fans updated on Mamma Mary's condition since the hospitalization.

Mamma Mary Confesses To A Shocking Secret

"We are asking for prayers for this awesome mom!!! Please pray that she will be ok!! You can also leave your well wishes on her page as well! Breaking Amish Mary Schmucker! Thank you!!" the couple initially posted alongside a picture of Mary on Jan. 7.

The couple also posted two additional updates on that same day, including one which attacked haters who had made negative comments about their matriarch.

"Momma Mary has been admitted to the hospital and I have no information yet to give so either you can pray for her or shut your mouth and quit being rude!!" a post at 2:27 p.m. read.

"So here is the update, mom has hernias and one of them is acting up. They will try to fix it externally at 8 p.m., tonight and if it does not work she will need surgery to correct the problem tonight yet. They are draining fluids from her stomach and hoping surgery is not needed. Thank you for all the prayers and we will try to keep y'all updated!" a second post later read.

The couple seemed to have somewhat better news with their updates on Jan. 8 however, with reports that Mary may not need to undergo any sort of operation at all.

"Update: So far they are still trying externally to fix the hernia. They really don't want to do surgery unless that have to because she has heart problems and it would take a toll on her heart," the day's first post read. "They said there is only a 20% chance of her needing surgery. They are starting to give her a small amount of fluids to see what happens. So thank you for all your prayers!! You prayers have created miracles before and I know it can happen again!! God is Great!!"

A second post confirmed that Mary would not need surgery for the time being, though she is still currently hospitalized.

"The #powerofprayer has been amazing!! Thank you all!! As of now Mom does not need surgery!!! They want to wait until she is a little stronger so she can hopefully handle the surgery better so they hope she can be home within the next few days!!! Yay!!" the post read. "We are very happy!! Seeing her in that state of being so sick is hard on all of us! We are grateful t all the family that has traveled close and far to be by her side and praying for her and supporting her through this time!! #Schmucker #family."

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Mamma Mary!
