Carly Rae Jepsen was introduced to her new boyfriend by LMFAO star Redfoo, according to CTV News. The "Call Me Maybe" singer was dating an architecture student, Jordi Ashworth, before her schedule became too hectic and they eventually broke up. However, Jepsen found new love with fellow musician Matthew Koma.

"I love to go on spontaneous dates and do things that we've never tried before or stay at home and make a homemade dinner," Jepsen said to People magazine. "I really like to cook. One of my favorite things to make is homemade sushi. I know how to make the rolls and it's really fun to do."

Jepsen went on to say that she thinks confident guys are sexy.

"I really like guys who have confidence, but not the cocky over-the-top confidence," Jepsen told the magazine at the U.S. Open's annual Arthur Ashe Kids Day in Queens, N.Y. on Saturday, Aug. 26. "Guys with the right type of confidence are really sexy."

Jepsen and Owl City performed their single, "Good Time," at the Arthur Ashe Kids Day event. She and Koma were reportedly holding hands during the event.

"He seemed really excited about it," an unnamed source said about Koma, according to CTV. "And [Jepsen] was smiling from ear to ear by his side during the introduction. He seems like a really nice and personable guy."

Jepsen and Koma have gone public with their relationship recently. A few weeks ago, the New York Daily News reported that Koma referred to Jepsen as his girlfriend at the GetGlue HD Launch Party in New York City.

"He's a really great guy and really talented," Jepsen added about Koma.

Jepsen's U.S. debut album is set for next month and Koma is working on his own musical projects as a vocalist for Zedd's "Spectrum" and Alesso's "Years."

Jepsen's album, "Kiss," drops on Sept. 18.
