Agent Carter's Howard Stark is up to something, and his loyal butler seems more than ready to follow his lead.

Edwin Jarvis' (James D'Arcy) has a penchant for routine and order, carefully cooked soufflés and a 9 p.m. bedtime. Somewhere a long the line, however, the butler's loyalty to Stark (Dominic Cooper) threw him into a world of danger and late night missions. If viewers are wondering what could prompt such a change in the seemingly demure Jarvis, Entertainment Weekly promises that Agent Carter will soon reveal the answer by digging into the duo's past.

"Howard did something for him that had an enormous [impact] in both his life and his wife's life," D'Arcy informed Entertainment Weekly. "As a result of that, I think Jarvis feels extremely loyal towards somebody of, let's face it, questionable morality."

It remains unknown when exactly that revelation will come to light. The SSR will arrest Jarvis in the Jan. 13 episode - no doubt in relation to the license plat found at the demolished plant - and some answers will certainly flow from that encounter.
