Teen Wolf fans will only have to wait until June to see their favorite Beacon Hills werewolves back on MTV.

'Teen Wolf' MTV: Season 5 Premiere Title Announced, When Will Filming Begin?

After a long three months with no news, series creator Jeff David brook his silence in late December when he announced the season 5 premiere title. Writer Eric Wallace was quick to follow suit, taking time to tease the series' upcoming return while speaking with the Gecken podcast, according to Hypable.

"[Season 5 will be the] scariest season ever," Wallace teased.

After quickly turning out seasons 3 and 4, the MTV production wrapped filming in July and will not start again until February. However, the series' writers are hard at work churning out scripts.

"The scripts for the new season are rolling in!" actor Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski) tweeted on Wednesday.

While the overarching storyline for season 5 is still unknown, viewers can look forward to learning more Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley), Derek's (Tyler Hoechlin) new powers, and what Mr. McCall (Matthew Del Negro) will have to his son when he returns.
