While Mary Jane faces her own issues with men in the upcoming season of BET's Being Mary Jane, her best friend and colleague Kara has revealed that the two also have their rocky points in the highly anticipated new episodes.

In a special interview with BET, Kara (actress Lisa Vidal) spoke with BET and dished on what the audience can expect to see between to the two friends.

If viewers thought Kara rocked Mary Jane's comfort zone before, it gets even more intense in season two.

"Do I push her past what's comfortable? You're right I do. And don't think she doesn't push right back. It's probably one of the things I love most about her, passion."

She went on to credit Mary Jane for being a huge part of her support system while she divorced her husband.

"I probably would not have survived that without her. Do we fight sometimes? Sure. But more like sisters. When things get real, we both know we have each other's back. No matter how many doors we have to knock down along the way."

Fans certainly saw Kara and Mary Jane go through their ups and downs in the first season of the hit series. Between Kara's divorce and Mary Jane's relationship with a married man and even rifts in their career, they were able to come together and keep their friendship strong. Kara even helped Mary Jane confront her now ex-boyfriend's wife and apologize for being the other woman.
