Christina Ricci is back to work and looking healthier than ever amid giving birth five months ago.

The actress became a mom last August where she and her husband, James Heerdegen, gave birth to a boy. She is now working on her latest project The Lizzie Borden Chronicles where she made an appearance at the TCA Panel in Pasadena as she managed to remove all of her baby weight.

On Saturday, Daily Mail posted photos of Ricci as she donned a black suit and kept a slim frame. She also had some joyous energy as she discussed the Lifetime miniseries with her co-stars.

Ricci played the iconic character Lizzie Borden in the TV movie Lizzie Borden Too Ax where she will reprise her role in the upcoming miniseries.

"It's a fictionalized version of what happens after the trial, as she continues to misbehave," the actress told TV Line. "This is an imagining of what could have happened."

Ricci then explained what her character will be like in the eight-hour series where her dark persona continues to linger after her character murdered her parents.

"I never expected to play her again, but she's really fun in this interpretation," she said. "This version of her is actually a lot more satisfying. She has a sense of self-awareness. But at the same time, we do deal with the complexities and emotions behind what created this monster."
