A new mobile game based on Terminator: Genisys is in the works, according to a new report.

Child Actor To Play SkyNet In Terminator: Genisys?

Terminator Fans revealed that Glu Mobile is conceptualising a game based on the upcoming movie. The report goes on to reveal that this is probably the only game that will be themed on the movie, and it might be a disappointment for gamers as a console version is not being worked on. While the official release date for the game has not been revelaed yet, the website is guessing it will be around the movie release in July. Glu is known for making a game based on Robocop, in the past.

The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, and Jai Courtney. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will "arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017."

Terminator: Genisys Is A "Reset" That "Shifts The Course Of Everything"

The trailer for the film prepares fans for some new twists in the plot. In the trailer Kyle Reese (Courtney) and John Connor (Jason) are actually seen interacting, as Reese volunteers to go back and save Sarah Connor (Emilia). In another cut, things are upended from what fans are used to, as Sarah is seen saving Kyle from a T-800 who is trying to terminate him. As the trailer progresses she informs him about Schwarzenegger's cyborg descending on earth and how everything is different this time around. As Schwarzenegger is shown as the Terminator, a flashback shows him carrying a young Sarah. In the recently revealed Entertainment Weekly cover story on the movie, we found out that Schwarzenegger's character will actually play guardian to Sarah growing up, and protect her.

Terminator: Genisys is scheduled to release in July 2015.
