Power creator 50 Cent might have been upset when he accused Empire of copying his hit Starz show, but it looks like lead actors of Empire Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard could only laugh off his claims.

Howard and Henson spoke with The Wrap Wednesday. Henson made it clear that she did not take 50 Cent's comments seriously.

"50 Cent is a comedian. He loves to push buttons. He's a funny guy. I never took offense to it. If anything, I thought he was trying to take a jab at [Howard]. He's jealous of his looks."

Howard also had lots to say when it came to the rapper's diss.

"50 is my monster man. We served jail time together in his film Get Rich or Die Tryin', we were naked together. I love the fact that we're both pushing the envelope with our shows."

Henson also took to her Twitter to fire back at 50 Cent on Twitter. A fan asked her what she thought about 50 Cent's post.

"I pay attention to $s NOT cents?"

She added, "I couldn't even find the "cent" sign!! #ByeB----"

The dynamic duo was responding to 50 Cent's comments on Instagram just days before the show premiered Wednesday.

In a post that has since been deleted, he wrote, "POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me. I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. I don't like that they would copy the marketing."
