Princess Kate might just be getting ready for a winter getaway with her son.

Kate Middleton Turns 33 With Quiet Family Celebration

Much is being made of Prince William's decision to invite his in-laws, Carole and Michael Middleton, to celebrate Christmas with the royal family last month in Norfolk.

According to the Daily Mail on Jan. 9, the Middletons surprised the public by staying on in Norfolk this month to celebrate Kate's 33rd birthday. Six months pregnant, the princess likely welcomed the presence of her parents at Amner Hall. In fact, she might even go so far as to go with them when they leave.

Prince George Could Be England's Most Tech Savvy Monarch

Carole Middleton is set to celebrate her 60th birthday soon. The family usually vacations in the Caribbean during this time and in 2014 Princess Kate and her son George, now one, accompanied them while William was busy at Cambridge University.

William will be occupied this month with his studies and Kate is already set to resume her public appearances. She is scheduled to attend the naming of The Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School in London Jan. 15, with a charity event planned for Jan. 16.

On Jan. 19 Kate will visit Kensington and then go on to the opening of a new school.

With all of her engagements and her husband's absence, Kate would surely welcome a little getaway with her parents and her baby boy.

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child this April.
