Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has opened up about her daughter-in-law's recent pregnancy scare. The future grandmother reveals that her son Ryan's wife Sarah went into preterm labor last week, even though she is only 34 weeks along in her pregnancy.

In a new interview with Rumor Fix last week, Judge said that her entire family got quite the scare when they found out that Sarah might be giving birth six weeks earlier than expected.

She said, "This has been a very tough pregnancy for Sarah. First, an ultrasound showed one of the babies kidneys was not developing [a condition called pelvic kidney]. Luckily, with that, everything turned out to be OK."

Luckily though, everything seems to be ok for the future mother - for now.

Judge added, "Everything was going smoothly until the last week when Sarah started having contractions early," Tamra continued. "She went to the hospital with contractions three minutes apart. The doctor has been giving her medicine to stop them and steroid shots to help develop Ava's lungs. She is at 34 weeks and baby Ava [Tamra's unborn granddaughter] could risk having underdeveloped lungs and low birth weight. We are hoping the doctors can keep her cooking until 37 weeks."

Meanwhile, Judge herself has insisted that she will be returning to the small screen for another season of the Real Housewives of Orange County. The reality television star has confirmed that she will be returning to the hit Bravo show, despite reports that hinted she would be getting fired.

According to Reality Tea back in November, Judge opened up about her on-screen controversy with her fellow co-stars and admitted that she has plenty of regrets from what happened during season 9.

She said, "Let's make that clear right now, the last season should have never happened. I was going through a lot personally with my ex. I keep my children off the show for a reason and this was something that my ex felt the need to make very very public in a very negative way for me and the kids, so it was very difficult for me as a mother to film a show of this sort and to not worry about exploiting my kids."
