The Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 event will be taking place at the IFA 2012 in Berlin kicks at 1 p.m. ET Wednesday with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 set to be unveiled. The event can be watched through live stream.

The event is one of the landmark tech. events for consumer electronics each year, and this year is set to be no different. Samsung will be one of the main companies attending the event and are featuring an array of products at their very own Samsung SMART Lounge.

A Samsung statement has said: "The Samsung SMART Lounge is an exclusive lounge for bloggers and digital celebrities. All bloggers have to do is register at the entrance. Complimentary coffee, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seats and neat tables with power will be provided. You can connect with the many bloggers in town from around the world, refuel yourself and blog away while charging your devices."

Samsung Experience Zone will also be available at the event to allow customers a fully hands on experience. V

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is one of the major draws of the event. Prior to the IFA 2012 it has unofficially been claimed that the device will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display, 1280x720 resolution, an eight-megapixel camera, storage of 16GB and 32GB, display ratio of 16:9, an "enhanced" S-Pen Stylus, and will run on the new Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Aug. 30: IFA Press Conference: 5 a.m. ET

Aug. 31: Samsung Smart Lounge Broadcast 1: IFA 2012 Exhibition Center: 12 p.m. ET

Sept. 1: Samsung Smart Lounge Broadcasting 2: Blogger's Opinions and Thoughts: 12 p.m. ET

Sept. 2: Samsung Smart Lounge Broadcasting 3: Introduction of Samsung's Main Products: 12 p.m. ET
