On January 12, director Stuart Gillard revealed a new still featuring Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) from season 3 of Beauty and the Beast.

"Vin / Cat enjoying a brief moment of peace," is how Gillard described the picture via his Twitter account. In the image the couple are seen hanging out at a bar, sharing happy times.

In a recent interview CW president, Mark Pedowitz, revealed that season 3 of Beauty and the Beast will be premiering in late May or early June.

Beauty and Beast Season 3 Filming At Central Park?

Pedowitz spoke to Entertainment Weekly, while discussing the early renewals for eight CW shows like Arrow, Jane the Virgin and Flash. He had nothing to say about a renewal for Beauty and the Beast yet.

While filming of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast is well underway, there had been no official word on the release date for the next chapter. Recently, Stuart Gillard, the director of the series, addressed the question when it was recently posed to him by a fan via Twitter. 

Gillard himself had no clue as to when the show would hit the air, saying he knew just as much as anybody else.

"@jazzangel1226 the network hasn't told us when we return yet. We are waiting along with all of you," he tweeted.

In other recent news, the show took away two wins at the People's choice awards, which took place on January 7. The show won for the favorite network sci-fi/fantasy TV show and Kristin Kreuk who plays the part of Catherine in the series, also won favorite cable sci-fi/fantasy TV actress.

Filming for season 3 of Beauty and the Beast resumed on January 6 after a brief hiatus.

Two of the cast and crew members of the CW series, revealed that filming is set to begin on January 6, as the tweeted their excitement at the wheels being set in motion again. "Day 1 of BATB 2015 commences tomorrow with great love and support from you the BEASTIES the dedicated diehard family! #BATB #no-slowing-Dwn!" tweeted actor Jason Gedrick, who is most likely guest starring in season 3.

Gillian Horvath, who is a writer for the show also posted the news via her account.

"Hiatus ends today. Filming resumes tomorrow. Which means - best part! - dailies on Wednesday. Love seeing scripts come to life," she tweeted.

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
