She might have eight children at home, but Kate Gosselin admits that she does have her days in which she feels very lonely. The reality television star reveals in a new interview that she doesn't have a boyfriend but is definitely looking for love.

Kate Gosselin Admits That She Sometimes Cries Behind Closed Doors  

According to Access Hollywood (via Yahoo News) on Wednesday, Gosselin says that while she definitely has her moments of loneliness, she's not sure if she's ready for the dating pool just yet. The blonde beauty separated from her ex-husband Jon Gosselin back in 2010.

She said, "Not yet. I mean, someday, maybe if that happens. I don't know with eight. Can I leave them at home that time?"

Kate Gosselin Isn't Listening To Her Haters Anymore

Kate added that these days she's busy raising her kids and doing household chores along with doing promotional interviews for her stint on The Celebrity Apprentice.

"I'm just making dinner and doing laundry still," she said, adding that she does indeed want to date. "[I] absolutely [do], but it just hasn't happened. I mean... it just feels so disappointing after all these years."

Kate added, "I'm definitely lonely and that [part of my life] is definitely missing. As time goes on it's more so, and the kids are mentioning it more and more. To have a man, a male presence in the house, I just feel it would be so much more balanced - [for] the boys especially. But the kids see the strain of like taking care of the house and all the stuff that goes wrong on a daily basis, and that kind of stuff," she added. "They see me bearing that load by myself."

The Celebrity Apprentice airs Sunday nights on NBC.
