The film company behind the "Twilight" series is secretly hoping that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart get back together again.

Executives at Summit Entertainment are reportedly holding off finalizing press dates to promote the movie in hopes that Pattinson might forgive Stewart for cheating on him with "Snow White and the Huntsman" film director Rupert Sanders.

"The studio's holding out to see if they get back together. But I don't think anyone is banking on that happening," a source close to the situation told The New York Post.

"At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It's usually very organized, but at this time it's undecided."

If the pair does not reconcile, Summit hopes the film's lead stars will at least attend the premiers separately. If so, execs are prepared to push co-star Ashley Greene further into the spotlight if the movie's fans continue to disapprove of Stewart, according to the report. Summit would also consider adding Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning to the revised plans of a more prominent role when promoting the movie.

Stewart was caught cheating with Sanders on July 17 in Los Angeles. Us Weekly published a series of photographs with the two of them kissing passionately inside a black car and several more of Stewart leaning against a guardrail as Sanders wrapped her in his arms and kissed her ear.

On Aug. 28, several reports indicated that the former couple may get back together after an emotional, hour-long phone conversation they recently had. After not speaking for a while, Pattinson reportedly decided that the time is right to see Stewart and have a frank face-to-face discussion about the status of their relationship.

"[Stewart] begged to meet face to face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her," a source said.

But since those reports, newer articles have revealed that Pattinson is reportedly selling the home he shared with his former girlfriend.

"He said there are too many memories," a friend of Pattinson told US Weekly on Aug. 28 about the $6.3 million home, located in the Los Feliz area in Los Angeles, Calif.

Summit Entertainment announced in a statement that it is moving "full steam ahead" with "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -Part 2". "We are confident the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike," said the statement.

The fourth "Twilight" movie, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," will arrive in theaters nationwide on November 16.
