Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres took a little time out of Wednesday show to address an article written in The Christian Post.

Larry Tomczak, the author of the story wrote that DeGeneres is a prime example of Hollywood "promoting homosexuality."

The Christian Post author wrote, "Ellen DeGeneres celebrates her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls."

In true DeGeneres fashion, the comedian responded to the man in the funniest way possible while still sending a positive message to her followers.

On Wednesday, Time reported that DeGeneres dismissed the claims made by the author of that story, and insisted that if anything, she wants promote compassion and self-acceptance around the world.

"The only way I'm trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another," she said. "That is the message I'm sending out. I don't have an agenda."

During Wednesday's show, DeGeneres said that she "has no agenda," and to play in to the critic's claims, she joking tried to hypnotize the members in her audience.

In the video, which can be seen below, the talk show host attempts to put her audience under a sleeping spell, and she tells them exactly what to do.

Unlike Tomczak, she tells the audience members to never stop being themselves and to live their life the way they choose to.

"Youth of the world, I want you live your lives being exactly who you are."
