Sofia Vergara has confirmed that she is officially engaged to businessman Nick Loeb.

When asked to provide details about her upcoming nuptials, the Colombian beauty admitted that she is not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

"I haven't started planning anything because everything has been very recent I am kind of, you know, working a lot - I just started the 'Modern Family' season - so I don't know yet [when I will get married]," she told Celebuzz, reported on Aug. 29. "No plans."

Vergara also revealed that she would open to having another child to join her 20-year-old son, Manolo Gonazalez, whom she had from her first marriage.

It is the first time the "Modern Family" star addressed the rumored engagement. Another video, filmed by her son Gonzalez, showing an alleged wedding proposal went viral in July. In it, Vargara flashes her engagement ring after her 20-year-old requests to see it.

"Let me see the ring," Gonzalez said to his mother in the video. Vergara shows off the ring and smiles. Loeb, 36, is seen moments earlier in the video taking Vergara to the top of the Chichen Itza ruins in Yucatan, Mexico during her 40th birthday celebratory trip. Gonzalez was unaware that Loeb planned to propose to his mom when he was documenting her birthday trip for his YouTube video series.

"Once they were to the top of the pyramid, my mother's longtime boyfriend, Nick, proposed to her," Gonzalez explained on camera.

The event was being documented for his YouTube video series "Mi Vida Con Toty," which means "My Life With Toty" in English. "Toty" is Vergara's family nickname.

Gonzalez recorded the Pepsi model celebrating her birthday with 107 friends and family members. He revealed that her climb to the top of the ruins was a dream of hers and required special arrangements for her to do so.

Several of Vergara's "Modern Family" co-stars joined her for the milestone trip, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Hyland and Julie Bowen. Vergara told Celebuzz that "everyone had a blast."
