After calling him "corny" on Twitter, Safaree Samuels did a tell-all interview with "The Breakfast Club" about his side of his public break up with raptress Nicki Minaj. As we previously reported, Safaree said things got so bad, he "was treated like an employee," and not her man of 10 plus years. While she has yet to speak publicly about his claims, she responded in her own way on Instagram.

"Always look past what a person is SAYING and see their INTENT. Intent will give u a different level of understanding of that person. What is the motive?" Minaj wrote as the caption on her Instagram post, which played "All Things Go" in the video.

According to Hot 97's Ebro, she was not necessarily mad about him getting some things off his chest, she was mad that he claimed to write her rhymes. In a video posted to their Youtube channel, Ebro said he spoke to Nicki Minaj. "She was upset about all of this and I just told her to be patient because in a couple of weeks, it will all be gone," he recalled.

Ebro also said, "She was most upset about the idea that someone else was writing her rhymes, he asserted that there was help... When you assert that someone writes your rhymes, you know that's Nicki's thing!"

During his interview with "The Breakfast Club," Safaree said that he would always give her lines while writing, which isn't a helpful to Nicki Minaj's reputation as the current Queen of rap. Still, Ebro assured her, "That's why he did it, because he knew that would hurt you."

Hopefully, Nicki and Safaree decide to at least speak soon because airing all of this out in public is unnecessary when they dated for so long.
