If you're sick of hearing about "GTL" (gym, tan, laundry) and Snooki, then this news might sound good to you: The upcoming sixth season of "Jersey Shore" will be the shows last after three years.

The final season's first episode will premiere on Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, but MTV will take a look back down the "Shore's" memory lane starting Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. ET/PT, with a one-hour special called "Gym, Tan, Look Back," right before the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

The series made new mom Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino famous and popularized the terms "guido," "guidette," "smush," "grenades" and "GTL."

According to the Associated Press, the show became a pop-culture phenomenon and one of MTV's biggest hits when it began in Dec. 2009. The show peaked with as many as 8 million viewers though ratings have took a downward turn in the more recent seasons. It created the spinoff shows "Snooki & JWOww" and "The Pauly D Project."

A lot has changed in three years. Though the sixth season is taking place in its original locations, Seaside Heights, N.J. but Snooki recently gave birth to baby Lorenzo Dominic and "The Situation" is sober after time in rehab. But there will still be drama. Castmember Deena Cortese is said to have been arrested for disorderly conduct after her and JWOWW got into a bar brawl, according to TODAY.com.

The pint-sized star Snooki had her baby on Aug. 26, at 5:30 a.m., She kept her fans updated on Twitter: "I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6 lbs! HE'SMY WORLD! <3"

She later tweeted, "Being a mom is an amazing feeling!!! I love my little man to death! Jionni is such a cute dad."

The star later revealed she got hardly any sleep, but she wrote it was "SO worth it!"

A rep for the star released a statement saying, "The world just got another Guido!!!"
