Even as she enters her third trimester, the pregnant Kate Middleton knows how to work an outfit.

Prince William & Princess Kate Join Twitter 

On Thursday Princess Kate topped People's list of best star photos for the day in an image outside the Barlby Primary School in London.

The princess looked very stylish wearing a simple navy jacket with just enough details to make it pop. The three-quarter sleeve top included four colorfully accented pockets and the princess looked lovely as she stood outside and prepared to meet the students.

Golden Globe Winner Dishes On Prince William 

Kate was at the school to officially name the Clore Art room, which was just one of her many royal stops this month. Unfortunately one-year-old Prince George was not in attendance. Prince William was not there either as he has been occupied with his studies all week long.

On Friday the princess attended a charity event in London. She will go on to visit Kensington Palace on Jan. 19 before rushing off to the opening of a new school.

William and Kate did get in some family time last month before diving into their January commitments. On Dec. 25 the couple attended Church at Sandringham Estate with Queen Elizabeth. They then headed back to their home at Amber Hall where they spent the afternoon with Kate's parents and siblings, all of whom eatery fawned over a happy Prince George.

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
