It seems as though not everyone is excited about Bethenny Frankel's plans to launch a line of recreational marijuana that won't give users the "munchies." The returning Real Housewives of New York star is being criticized for her plans, with some media outlets calling it "bizarre" and "super lame."

Bethenny Frankel Responds To Allegations Over Her Leaked Tape

Frankel plans to create a type of marijuana that won't make users want to consume unnecessary calories while still getting the same "buzz" they would get with real weed.

New York Magazine doesn't seem to be too convinced that Frankel's plan will work as they wrote on Friday, "Her bespoke strain will be specially engineered to keep users from getting the munchies, and instead (we assume) will replace cravings with the vacant-eyed soul-hunger and unnameable sadness associated with other Skinnygirl products."

Is Bethenny Frankel's Legal Battle With Jason Hoppy Causing Her Millions?

Kara Brown of Jezebel chimed in with, "The many holes in this idea tell me that not only does Bethenny have her priorities completely out of whack, clearly she hasn't done any market research. Does she not understand that the munchies are like half the fun of getting high? How the hell else do you explain away eating four packs of ramen noodles in one sitting? What are stoners going to do now? Smoke up and then not go to Taco Bell?"

TMZ posted the photos on their web site on Thursday showing Frankel leaving the Green Dragon Dispensary in Aspen. The single mother looked to be dressed in all black while checking out the bar with a handful of friends.

According to the site, Frankel plans on selling the pot in states where recreational marijuana is legal, such as Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.
