Despite the sudden rumors claiming Amelia Heinle was leaving Young and the Restless, the actress isn't on her way out.

In the midst of the rumors, Heinle added to the speculation by taking down her Twitter page. However, the rumors were completely false.
“Amelia isn’t going anywhere, she never was … and the character of Victoria has a lot of story coming up!” a spokesperson from the show told On-Air On-Soaps.

For the past 10 years, the 41-year-old actress has played Victoria Newman, the daughter of Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden).
Many fans were clearly devastated by the rumor, according to their tweets.

According to news reports, Heinle only took a leave of absence to mourn the death of her sister-in-law Jane Heinle, who passed away from cancer on Dec. 31, 2014 at the age of 40. The actress steadily raised money for cancer via her website Dear March in honor of her sister-in-law.
