Patrick Fischler, who played Dharma Initiative worker Phil on Lost and comic Jimmy Barrett on Mad Men, will have a role in Once Upon a Time coming up, according to Deadline.

Fischler is slated to play a peddler, whose name is apparently Gorin, though this has not been officially confirmed. While his character seems like an innocent man, he is really "a quick-witted, arrogant man with reckless impulses," per Deadline.

The character will apparently show up in the fairy tale past as well as present-day Storybrooke, suggesting that he will have some level of importance to the story.

Fischler tweeted the news Friday, revealing that he is looking forward to the role:

"It seems the cat,as they say, is out of the proverbial bag. So looking forward 2 this! #OUAT @onceABC #OnceUponATime," he tweeted, along with a link to an article revealing the news.

It remains to be seen how Fischler will factor in to the new episodes, though it will certainly have a handful of villains for the main characters to battle against. The Queens of Darkness, a.k.a. Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Ursula (Merrin Dungey) are slated to become the new villains of the season for the second half of the season.

Once Upon a Time returns for the second half of season 4 on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
