After Grimm finally returned to television, Wu came to a shocking conclusion, and it sounds like things are about to get a lot more intense.

'Grimm' Christmas Episode Chatter

On Thursday, TV Line posted some details from actor Reggie Lee (Wu) who mentioned how things started off for him when he found out the horrible truth that monsters actually do exist.

"For someone who's really good at his job, it's almost worse than checking myself into an insane asylum," the actor said. "That's how we pick up, hitting very rock bottom."

The site said that Wu's education in the monster field will unfold in the next few episodes, which is leaving Lee exhausted at the end of the day.

"At the end of the day, you're f---ing tired and you just want to lay on your bed," Lee said. "It almost takes more out of you, the emotional stuff, than the physical stuff, than if I'd been running around all day."

Considering that the emotional scenes are bringing out a lot of energy, it sounds like the remainder of the season is going to revolve around scenes that are more about the heart and mind as opposed to the action.

Lee also pointed out that people have been giving his character a hard time for not accepting this new change just yet.

"Seriously: If you're going to see monsters for real life, in real life, it's a freaky situation," he said. "It's not like, 'Okay, I saw it last week, and this week I'm good.' Sometimes I see tweets that are like, 'God, Wu, get over it already!' I'm like, 'If you were in that situation...'"

Grimm airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
