Jennifer Hudson has given fans an up-close-and-personal look into her life by posting dozens of snapshots from her family album to her social media accounts.

Hudson shared a multitude of photos of herself with fiance David Otunga and the couple's 3-year-old son, also named David.

Many of the shots show the family at Hudson's son's third birthday party. All the festivities went down at an indoor playground, complete with a huge inflatable slide. The family appears in fun face paint - the birthday boy with a Spiderman design - and crowding around a huge, three-tiered birthday cake decorated with cartoon characters like Simba from "The Lion King" and Puss-In-Boots.

Other photos show the family on a private plane and meeting the characters from "Sesame Street."

Hudson and fiancé Otunga will open up their lives to fans yet again next week when the couple is interviewed on "Oprah's Next Chapter."

Previews for the interview, which took place in Hudson's Chicago home, show Hudson and Otunga discussing their upcoming wedding, as well as the singer and her sister Julia discussing the family tragedy that occurred four years ago when Hudson's mother, brother and nephew were murdered.

Hudson's appearance on "Oprah's Next Chapter" is scheduled to air Sept. 9 on OWN.
