Catelynn Lowell wants fans to know she wasn't copying Kourtney Kardashian when she named her daughter Novalee Reign.

Catelynn Lowell Can't Stop Staring At Her Daughter's 'Beautiful Face'

After giving birth to her second daughter on New Year's Day, the Teen Mom star was accused of having gotten her name choice from Kardashian. However, according to Lowell, she and her fiance, Tyler Baltierra, picked Reign as their daughter's middle name way before the birth of Kardashian's son.

"Just so everyone is aware Novalees middle name Reign, we had that picked out WAY before Kourtney Kardashian named her son that lol," Lowell wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell Defends Her Adoption Choice

Lowell and Baltierra welcomed Novalee Reign on Jan. 1, less than one year after they revealed plans for a second child. As fans of Teen Mom will recall, Lowell and Baltierra chose adoption for their first daughter, Carly, when she was born in 2009.

Meanwhile, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her longtime partner, Scott Disick, welcomed their third child, Reign Aston, on Dec. 14.

Since late summer, Lowell and Baltierra have been filming the fifth season of Teen Mom, which will premiere later this year, and likely feature the couple's second child.

Fans are expected to see Lowell's co-star Maci Bookout's pregnancy on the show, as well, which she announced at the end of last month. They will also meet the father of Bookout's unborn child, Taylor McKinney, whom she's been dating for the last two years.
