In a recent fan interaction, writer and producer Gillian Horvath, dished about what fans can expect from season 3 of Beauty and the Beast.

Season 3 Of Beauty and the Beast Premiering In May?  

While answering fan questions via Twitter, Horvath revealed that the next chapter's focus will broaden and move beyond Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk). She suggested that it would be about not just the two of them but about a family, she was probably talking about two couples -- which could mean including J.T. (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lissandro).

"And as Brad said a while ago, #BATB S3 is about "we." Not just "we two" but "we four (or 5)," & "we family." @anapianapia @CWBeautyB," she tweeted on January 18.

Season 3 Of Beauty and the Beast To Conclude CW Series? 

But this seems to contradict what executive producer of the show, Brad Kern, said about the next season in an interview. Speaking with The Hollywood ReporterKern revealed that season 3 would focus on Catherine and Vincent's love. 

"Now that we have the loyal audience, the goal is to make it more Cat-Vincent centric," he said. "We'll continue to build the mythology. Everything else will service and work around that love."

In other related news, a new season 3 still featuring Vincent and Catherine was revealed via music composers of Beauty and the Beast.

The couple are seen looking happy celebrating at a party together. From the still it is revealed, that Catherine wears her hair shorter in this season. Hitower Music, which is represented by James Guttridge and Sean Hosein, who compose the music for the CW series, shared the still via Twitter 

"For dear beasties waiting for S3 #BATB and French #beastieswho just finished S2. Hang in there! #BATBworththewait," the tweet reads/

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
