There is no doubt that Jennifer Lopez is one of the hottest celebrities in the entertainment world right now and that she loves to flaunt her curves whenever given the chance. The Boy Next Door actress is calling out her critics who question her performances and wardrobe while saying there's nothing wrong with being a "sexy mom."

Jennifer Lopez News: Actress Finally Changes Her Last Name After Finalizing Divorce From Marc Anthony

The 45-year-old Latina beauty, who has two children with ex-husband Marc Anthony, opened up to the February issue of Complex Magazine (via the Daily Mail) about both her personal life and career.

Calling herself a "brave warrior princess who keeps going no matter what," she asked, "I'm not allowed to be sexy because I'm a mom? It's like, how do you think I got my children?"

Lopez also said that she wouldn't go as far as embarrass her children if they thought her performances were too over the top or sexy for them.

She said, "At the end of the day, they care more about me being there, taking care of them, than if I'm sexy in a video. And I'm not saying that one day they may not be like, 'Mom! Why did you do that?! But I don't think that in 10 years I'm going to be doing that either.'"

The big screen star also hit back at critics who said her Booty video with rapper Iggy Azalea pushed the envelope a little too far with her risqué dancing and barely-there outfits.

She said, "It's a good message for women. I'm standing next to this girl who is 24 years old and I'm in my 40s and there's no difference. Women need to see that and feel that. You can't let the feat of what people might say or think stop you from doing what you want to do or else we would never do anything."

Lopez's film, The Boy Next Door, opens nationwide in theaters this Friday.
