While the princess has been covering up over the last few weeks, she showed off her pregnant belly in the silk Hobbs ensemble as she attended the foster care charity event in London on Jan. 16.

Why Princess Diana Would Have Been An Incredible Grandmother To Prince George

"I've heard a huge amount about fostering," declared the 33-year-old during her talk. "It's really great for me to have an opportunity to speak to you."

Princess Kate continued her visit with a few stops to see the children. She took the time to speak with them, talking about her one-year-old son George and even complimenting a 6-month-old named Naya on her hair.

Lucy Peake, The Fostering Network's director of development, believes that Kate's visit "helps to shine a spotlight on fostering the need for more foster carers."

"We are very grateful to her for her interest," continued Peake, "And know that the foster carers and care leavers attending our event today are excited to be sharing their experience and stories with her."

Kate's royal engagements this month have remained focused on children. On Jan. 15 she attended the naming of the Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School and on Monday she was present at the opening of a recreation center which offers swimming lessons to kids.

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
