Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway is just like the rest of us when it comes to her fascination to George Clooney's new wife, Amal Clooney. The big screen star admits that she looks up to the human rights lawyer and respects all the work she's done in her profession in the past few years.

In a new interview with Extra TV on Tuesday, Hathaway was shocked to hear that many people think that Amal Clooney looks like her doppelganger.

She said, "I've never heard that but thank you...That's so going to be the best thing that happens to me today. I hope that one day I become half the woman she is, she's so accomplished and it's so thrilling to look at someone and say 'wow you really are making the world a better place.'"

Unfortunately for Amal, not everyone is a big fan of the British beauty. Earlier this month, she got slammed by Kathy Griffin for wearing white gloves at the Golden Globes Award.

According to Us Weekly earlier this month, Griffin didn't hold back when it came to critiquing Amal's hair, dress and white gloves.

Griffin roasted her by saying, "Yeah, she's annoying. You heard me! Everybody run in fear! I thought it was weird she had those gloves that remind me of, like, a porn scene, where the guy goes home and there's the naughty dishwasher and she only has the gloves."

She added, "Like, she used those bovine insemination gloves to rake through her hair instead of a brush. I'm fascinated how we're like, not supposed to make fun of her because she married the great George Clooney. Look, everybody's on the table, George! Nobody's safe, nobody gets a pass."
