Kate Middleton assured one little boy this week that even princesses get nervous.

Pregnant Kate Middleton Champions Underprivileged Children

On Monday a pregnant Princess Kate attended a charity event for Family Friends in London. The 33-year-old stopped the greet a number of onlookers during her trip, including one rather starstruck two-year-old.

According to People on Monday, two-year-old Ryan Dixon didn't know what to do when he came face to face with Kate. The typically outgoing child suddenly found himself afraid. "No, no Mummy," he insisted as he tried to run away. "No, no Mummy."

Unfazed by the boy's sudden batch of nervous, Kate knelt down and assured the boy that it was all right. "I would be shy as well," she told him.

It seems one-year-old Prince George's mother knows a thing or two about nerves, as well as how to talk with an uncomfortable little boy.

Princess Kate continued with her royal engagements this week, attending charity events and school openings. Fortunately for the pregnant Kate she might just get a break soon.

Next week she's expected to take a little vacation. Her mother, Carole Middleton, is turning 60 and every year the family celebrates the occasion in the Caribbean. In 2014 Princess Kate took little George along to join them for the trip, and will likely do so again this year as her husband Prince William continues with his studies.

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
