With Parenthood almost at its end, cast member Erika Christensen revealed that the series finale will focus on the Braverman family's future.

Haddie Returns in Finale For Death in Braverman Family?

"I think it will be really satisfying and interesting, because it covers a lot of ground," she told TV Guide in a new interview. "We go through three years, I think, of some more family developments. ... A lot can happen."

Christensen, who plays Julia Braverman-Graham, also said shooting the final scene with her co-stars was "brutal" because it was a very emotional moment.

Are Fans Happy That Joel & Julia Are Back Together?

"Thankfully we didn't have a whole lot of talking to do, because we were bawling," she said. "Everyone was a mess, and we weren't done shooting. So there's even a shot that you might be able to catch some people crying."

The NBC show is coming to an end after six seasons on January 29. The finale is expected to include one major death in the Braverman family (presumably Craig T. Nelson's character Zeek), which fans are probably dreading. And, they aren't the only ones.

According to a previous report from E! News, "some cast members are NOT happy about the death that's coming. Meaning they don't think it's a good idea for the show."
