As fans expressed their rage and anger over the cancellation of Witches of East End, it looks like they're not the only ones who are having a hard time.

EXCLUSIVE: Madchen Amick Explains Why 'Witches Of East End' Didn't Survive

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter posted a story from a number of different network chiefs who gave details on who they would choose to swap jobs with in the TV industry as well as what shows were the hardest to cancel.

When the cancellation question was brought up to Executive Vice President of Lifetime Robert Sharenow, his answer was Witches of East End since this apparently let down his teenage daughter.

Is There Hope For A 'Witches Of East End' Renewal?

"My 15-year-old daughter still hasn't forgiven me," Sharenow said.

Considering that the series got cancelled a few months ago, that might say a lot for him. Even though there's been plenty of buzz on a possible renewal of a third season since fans have signed petitions and created trends on social media, no news has been announced for a renewal.

In an exclusive interview with Madchen Amick, who played Wendy on the series, she explained that TV executives may really want the show to continue, but they just can't afford it if not enough people are watching it live.

"People just don't sit down and watch shows live anymore. They DVR it, they stream it, they watch it on Netflix or iTunes," the actress previously told EnStars. "It's just unfortunate that a network only makes their profit off of live viewership because their hands are tied by advertisers. They may believe in the show and want it to continue, but they just unfortunately can't afford it."
