As with most new seasons of CBS's Survivor, the upcoming 30th season will include a new twist at the start of the game.

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Reveals Reasoning Behind No Returnees For Season 30, 'Let's Just Do A Great Season'

Survivor host Jeff Probst recently revealed what one of the twists will be for the upcoming Survivor: Worlds Apart, and it's a bit of an adaptation on a former twist.

"Twists this season...I think are going to surprise the players because of how simple it is. We don't have a lot of twists planned. Our big twist out of the gate hinges on one change in the game," he explained to Xfinity recently. We've often done something where we say, 'Pick one person to make a decision on behalf of your tribe.' That's worked well.

'Survivor' 2015: Which 'White Collar' Tribe Member Will Do Best, Carolyn, Joaquin, Max, Shirin, So Or Tyler?

"The nice thing about having one person is that no one knows your lie. "So, what we're saying is you have to share your lie. Two people have to decide whether or not to deceive the tribe. And now you're linked with them. If you lie, they know your lie and you know theirs. What do you do? Do you get rid of them because they know or are you linked with them to the end? And part of the lie is a clue to an idol. Who gets it?"

This played out most recently in Survivor: Cagayan, where each tribe was asked to select their weakest member, who would then go to the tribe beach and choose between sharing food with the tribe or getting a clue to the hidden Immunity Idol.

The report further clarifies that in the upcoming season, two people will be selected from each tribe to either pick a big bag of beans for the tribe with no clue to the idol or a small bag with the idol clue.

Probst also revealed that the "Tyler Perry Idol" would not come back for Worlds Apart. The idol was a controversial one in Survivor: Cagayan due to its power in the game, allowing the holder to play it after the votes are read.

Survivor: Worlds Apart is set to premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
