On Friday, The Huffington Post announced that Johnson and Gretzky welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world and decided it would be best to stick to tradition.

The Gretzky family has a tradition of using names that begin with the letter T for boy names, and the couple decided to follow suit with the name Tatum for their newborn.

Tatum came into the world on Monday and was reported first by @DustinJohnsonGolf on Twitter.

The photo featured Johnson holding a tightly wrapped up Tatum in the signature hospital blanket and hat. He tweeted with the photo: "What really matters. Little Tatum and Parents DJ & Paulina."

Then on Friday, Gretzky shared a photo of the newborn on Instagram. The photo showed a tiny Tatum in a fuzzy blanket in mom Gretzky's arm.

She captioned the photo: "So in love with my little boy. Tatum Gretzky Johnson."

When Tatum was first born, Johnson released a statement about their new bundle of joy:

"Paulina and I are happy to announce the arrival of our baby boy, who was born in Los Angeles on Monday morning. Both Paulina and the baby are healthy, resting comfortably and in great spirits! We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received and plan to release further details in the coming days! Sincerely, Dustin."
