Now that fans got their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3, users are waiting for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update which is expected to be released soon. Although the exact date has not been set, the latest Android update has reportedly been leaked online.

It is not certain that the leaked Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be the final version because the official version has not been released as of yet.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was unveiled to the world on May 3 2012 and has since become one of the fastest and best selling phones of all time.

For the first time, the SGS3 finally beat the sales of iPhone 4S, but of course that is due to the fact that the iPhone 5 has not been released yet. The highly anticipated iPhone 5 is finally expected to be revealed at an Apple event on September 12. After  keeping mum for months, the tech giant finally sent out simple invitations for the event yesterday.
The latest Apple handset is expected to sell around 10 million units.

Meanwhile, Samsung has been rolling out different color variations of the Samsung Galaxy S3. AT&T is offering the device in garnet red. It will also be available in amber brown, titanium grey, and sapphire black. Samsung had stated that the availability will vary based on the country and carrier or retailer within the customer's area.

There had been previous buzz that a black version of the smartphone would come out, as a leaked screenshot for the Samsung product database had shown a headline for a "Samsung Galaxy S3 Black."

The Galaxy S3 is 4.8 in inches and has a 1280x720 display. It runs Android 4.0 and also features a rear-facing camera with 8-megapixels and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
