Carrie Underwood held out for as long as she could, but the country star is officially done flying until after her son is born.

"Traveling at this point is not in the cards for me," admitted the Something In The Water singer to Now With Ryan Fox and CMT on Jan. 23.

Unfortunately for Underwood, she's been grounded just in time for the Grammys. As a result, she will be watching from her home in Nashville this year. "I will be eagerly watching and fingers crossed and all that," she insisted.

While the singer won't be bedridden, the sudden time off might feel a little strange at first. As for life after she gives birth, the singer is still trying to figure that out.

"I was gonna take some time off," she explained. "But I got all of my baby ducks lined up in a row and was like, 'I'm kind of bored, so I'm gonna go write some more. I have a few shows this summer that I'm really excited about. And I'm excited to see how a baby fits into bus life."

"We've had to go back and design a bus," she added, which proves that the singer won't be cancelling any of her shows this summer anytime sooner.

Underwood and her husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, announced that they are expecting their first child together back in September. The singer is expected to give birth to their son this spring.
