E.L. James had recently taken to Twitter to proclaim that all of the casting buzz surrounding the movie version of her "Fifty Shades of Grey" is not true.  Therefore, fans can still continue to speculate on their picks for the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

However, there are a couple of pairs that could potentially dazzle the "Fifty Shades" loyalists on the big screen, according to Books & Review.

Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder and Percy Jackson's Alexandra Daddario could potentially be a solid pairing for the roles.  Somerhalder has actually been pushing himself for the role of a lifetime, but could face some stiff competition from White Collar's Matt Bomer, who just so happens to work with Daddario in the hit television show.

Man of Steel's Henry Cavill and Twilight's Ashley Greene are another potential pair. Only four years apart in age the two may indeed be a fan favorite.  Cavill had also been the motivation behind the Edward Cullen character in Stephanie Meyer's "The Twilight Saga" and the Grey role had just so happened to be inspired by that respective character.

Greene had even admitted to reading the racy "Fifty Shades" books, according to the site.

"I feel like I kind of had to, it's now pop culture and they're making it into a film. I'm not finished with all of them, but I'm on the third book."

True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard and Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale are a third potential pair.  Although the two are thirteen years apart in age, Hale would be thrilled to land the role of Anastasia Steele, according to MTV News.

"I definitely am ready to take a step and do something a bit more risky, absolutely, but it's a fine line," she said. "I don't know what that fine line is, but I'm definitely ready to explore a darker side of my acting abilities."

Up until this point, E.L. James and the producers attached to the future film version of the racy read have remained tight-lipped on the casting process. However, only time will tell who ends up with the highly-anticipated role of Grey and also who will play his love interest, Anastasia Steele.
